Hey Bloomers! 🌼💛 Happy Valentine’s Day to you all. Because this is a day dedicated to celebrating love, today’s blog post will do the same. 

Spread love, within you and around you 

Spread love, within you and around you. There is a formula to it. The only way you can be able to love others well is if you first love yourself well. The second greatest command in the Bible goes as follows: You shall love your neighbour as yourself. Hence, you are only able to give your neighbour the amount of love that you give yourself. 

As written by Pearl Dy, “we want what is best for us and by making our own selves as the benchmark of how we should love others, Christ has shown us how to truly love our neighbour”. 

Loving yourself wholeheartedly and taking care of yourself is therefore not only beneficial for you, but for those around you too. After spreading love within, spread it around you! Do what you can to make sure that the people around you feel loved. You are the light of the world.  

Sprinkling goodness in the world 

You can play your small part in the larger world by being a loving person to those around you. Think of how best you can express your love to them. Fortunately, there are infinite ways of showing love. We are all responsible for the world we live in and no matter how small your actions, they can be positive contributions towards change, through spreading love. 

Love

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
